For this activity you will create a times line that depicts the evloution of of a single technology. For example if you chose the automobile then you would creat a time line showing how the car has changed since its inception. You should only focus on the major changes. For the car, major changes would include such things as:

  • When the first headlights were put on cars
  • When the first seatbelt was installed or invented
  • When cars first had a radio
  • when cars first had GPS
Notice that all of the above examples relate to MAJOR changes that affect all cars. You should not just show how a specific car has change in body style.

You can choose any technology you would like except cell phones. Some example that come to my mind are as follows, but please dont think you are limited to this list. Choose any technology you are interedsted in.

  • Video games
  • shoes
  • media technology (phono graph, tapes, CD, DVD, downloars, etc...)
  • computers
  • social networking
  • search engine technology
  • browser technology
  • Bike Technology
  • clothing
